Desert Parsely

Scientific Name: Lomatium

There are approximately 80 species in the genus Lomatium.

Pungent Desert Parsley is one of the, more frequently seen varieties of Lomatium in our area.
It is a bright green plant with bright yellow flowers that bloom early in the spring.

Columbia Desert Parsley (Lomatium columbianum) is also seen frequently. It has purple flowers.
