Tumalo Mt (was Squaw Mt.) on 9/29/15

Wonderful views
from the top
of the Mountain

At the top
we could see
Mt. Hood

We also could see
Mt Jefferson

We also could see
Mt Rainier

(the view was better than what is shown in this picture)

We also could see
Mt. Adams

(The view was better than what this picture shows)

the mountain

The big Mushroom we saw was a Leccinum

Same people eat these mushrooms;
however, there are many reports of people getting violently sink from Leccinum
My suggestion: Do not eat them

Note: Leccinum is a genus of fungi in the family Boletaceae.
It is not in the genus Boletus. It is a seperate genus in the family Boletaceae

We also saw lots of Wooly Chanterelles
(Turbinellus floccosus) Aparently some people eat
these mushrooms, but there are lots of reports of people
getting sick from these mushrooms. My suggestion: Do not eat them
