The object.......
Get to the top of that rock!

The group assembles at the Trailhead,and
Our able leader Vicki gives instructions

The first part of the trail is easy

Later the trail became a bit more interesting

The views on the way up were wonderful

Unfortunately, there are no photos from the top,
because this photographer is a pathetic wimp.

Being a wimp hurt even more because
there were young kids running up the trail in clogs,
and the trail is objectively quite safe.

Most of our party did make it to the top

Directions to the trailhead:
1) Take I-84 to Cascade Locks
2) Cross Bridge of the Gods
3) Turn left on Hwy 14
4) Drive 6.5 miles to Beacon rock on the left.
