Hike on Dickey Creek Trail
10/04/13
Photo thanks to Meredith
The ride in to the trailhead was not too difficult a ride
The Group arrives at the trailhead
This is where the hike begins
The first part of the trail was easy
Someone put logs across the trail to make climbing down much easier and safer
The group was happy to be at the bottom of the climb
C
But then there was a climb up
We finally got to see Dickey Creek
There were wonderful old growth trees and lots of mushrooms
We found a pleasant spot for lunch
For some reason the hike back always seems shorter and easier
The following are beautiful pictures courtesy of Meredith
