Monkeyflower

Also called: Yellow monkeyflower, Golden monkeyflower, Seep monkeyflower, Common monkeyflower

Scientific Name: Scrophulariaceae (Figwort Family) or Mimulus nasutus

Seen on Hike to Mt. St. Helens 8/6/13

This bright-yellow flower is spotted with purple on the lower lip. The leaves are broadly rounded and toothed.

Note the arrow st ther bottom of the picture pointing to where this flower was located.
