Mycena --- Mycena Purpureofusca

Found on a living tree in Lake Oswego, Mt. Park 12/18/15
Identified as Mycena Purpureofusca on MO by Alan Rockafellow

Mycena purpureofusca - the Purple Edge Bonnet --has (and was named for)
a characteristic dark grayish-purple color of its gill edges
-- My specimen has this coloration--
However the spore size of my specimen appears to be different from what the references say.

In my specimen the spores are round about 4 or 5 microns and 1 micron out of round at most ----

Other Possibilities considered

Mycena sanguinolenta -- but this did not bleed red
Marasmius plicatulus --- see pages 232 and 209 of Arora
Mycena haematopus -- but this was not growing in a cluster
Mycena plicatus -- but I can not find much info on this species
