Stropharia ambigua

Found Thursday 2/26/15 on Scounters Mtn. near Happy Valley

There are veil fragments

the spores appear to be dark on the stipe
see spore print below

The fuzz normally on the stipe appears to have been washed off

Note that the bottom of the stipe has some yellow





The gills are dark





The cap is brownish tan





The stipe is fibrous



The gills are adnate





The spores are dark purple to black
