Suillus caerulescens
found 10/8/12 off of Fosberg

Note: large pores are in rows, pores are Yellow stem not bulbous

At first I thought it was Suillus brevipes, but
DB says "Suillus brevipes typically has a med to dark brown cap, very small pores that are not radially aligned, a whitish stipe without an annulus and occurs with pine"

Pores appear to be in rows

The top was somewhat slimy

It was growing under a conifer

--------------------------------------------

The spore print was light brown or cinnamon

--------------------------------------------



The spores where oblong and about
7 microns by
4 microns
