Report on our trip to
Lewis River Trail Oct 15-17, 2022

Day One,
We did two hikes:
The first was to Curley Creek Falls.
This was a short hike, one mile, and the falls were barely visible, very little water.

The second hike we did on Day One was on Lewis River Trail 131.
This was a six mile hike along the Lewis River.
It is a beautiful old growth forest with a view of the river, but no falls.
This trail goes much further than the section we hiked.

On the second day
We did a seven mile hike on Lewis River trail 131
We parked at the Lower Falls Campground
and hiked to the Middle Falls and then to the Upper Falls
and back.
These Three falls are show below.

Lower Falls

Middle Falls

Upper Falls

The trail from the Upper Falls to the Middle Falls
is blocked due to a landslide.
One must take a by-pass trail
On this bypass trail there is another falls called Copper Creek Falls

The trailheads for the hikes we did is shown below
