Flowers we saw

(Ranunculus occidentalis)
Juice from plant is poison
But seeds can be eaten -- for idisns it was a staple.

Directions to the Trailhead

1) Take Hwy 26 west to Hwy 6
2) Turn onto Hwy 6 toward Tillamook
3) Drive to mile Post 23,
--- if you come to Tillamook Forest Center - you went too far --
4) Turn right into Jones Creek Campround
5) Cross bridge and stay to the left
6) Turn left into Day Use area.
