Hike around the Chenoweth Table
Above the Dalles 4/16/15

Last year we started this hike down below and we had to climb up a steep hill

This year our leader obtained permission from a land owner so we could start
at a private house on top of the hill

Our leader assembles the group prior to the hike

Unfortunately in the first picture her face is hidden.

But the second picture shows her starting off on the hike.

Directions to the trailhead
1) take I84 East passed the Memaloose Rest Area

For the bottom of the hill start
a) take Exit 82, and go east a few blocks
b) then take a right to go passed the school to the closed school.
c) trail starts alongside and back of closed school.

For the top of the hill start on Private property
a) take exit 83
b) left on 6th street to Cherry Heights Rd.
c) continue on Cherry Heights Rd for 1.5 miles to 3825 Cherry Heights.
