A Six and a half mile hike
- Eagle Creek Trail to High Bridge --

My apologies for the poor quality pictures, but the fish just would not stay still to have their picture taken. Furthermore, they wouldn't come out of the water. Taking pictures of moving fish that are under water does pose some challenges that I was not up to.

Ron was our very adaptable leader.
He could not go where planned due to the rain, but with a last minute change to Eagle Creek he led a delightful hike.

At the trailhead, Ron gave instructions to the group.

First stop was traditional Punch Bowl Falls

The Eagle Creek trail is nice (if one ignores the sharp drop offs)

A new hiker, Dawn, joined us for the hike

After Punch Bowl Falls, we went past this beautiful falls.

Then at 3.3 miles we came to High Bridge

The view from High Bridge is a bit frightening, but awesome.

We had lunch at High Bridge

On the way back we noticed this cave on the other side of the creek.

There was some poison oak along the trail

For the more ambitious, the Eagle Creek Trail goes a long way.
