This is the trail we followed

At the trailhead, our leaders gave instructions

It was a nice trail, through old growth trees

Getting over a log did present a bit of a challenge but everyone made it

There were magnificent trees along the trail

We were delighted that Edmund joined us on this hike

We did get the group to stand still for a group photos

There were not many flowers, but we could see a lot of Clackamas Iris plants.

According to Sharon, this is the only place that this particular Iris grows.

Come back to see it bloom in the Spring.

Directions to the trailhead.
1) Take hwy 224 through Estacada to the Ripplebrook Range Station - General Store
2) Go 0.5 miles past the Ripplebrook Ranger station and follow the sign to Bagby Hot Springs.
3) Drive 1.7 miles after the turn to the trailhead on the right.
