Directions to Trailhead

1) Drive South on I-5 to Exit 260A (Salem Parkway) Westbound to Dalles and Oregon Coast.

2) Just outside of Salem, merge onto Hwy 22.

3) Follow Hwy 22 and merge onto Hwy 18.

4) Follow Hwy 18 to Hwy 101 near the coast.

5) Turn North on Hwy 101 - drive Four Miles to unmarked gravel Forest Road 1861.
The turn off from Hwy 101 is at the end of the overtaking lane -
just before the top of a long hill.

6) Stay on gravel road past the Cascade Head trailhead (this is at about 3.3 miles)
Continue for about another 3/4 mile to the trailhead (no fees required)

7) Trail goes down 900 feet to the lookout point near the ocean.
