A two part hike on Thursday 5/9/13
both parts starting from
the Rowena Crest View Point

The first part of the hike went to Tom McCall Point
The second part was on the lower plateau

The views were fantastic

That is Mt Adams in the background

Some of the best views could be seen going down the hill

The flowers were everywhere

--------------------------------------------

Even the Mountain Cucumbers were fruiting

I did not get everyone, but here are a few pictures of those on the hike

Note, I offered a prize for anyone that sent to me pictures that they took on the hike so that I could include then in this page, but I have not gotten any as yet --

Becky lost her radio
but Mel found it for her

Finally a picture of where we were.
It might not look high, but it was a challenging climb

According to Becky, if we had gone earlier
we would have seen some interesting things
