Nine Mile Hike 10/09/12 to Quartz Creek on Mt. Adams
This hike was through an old growth forest

A nice Hike, but we had to drive about 100 miles to get there
Crossing Quartz Creek on a log was also quite a challenge

This Log Bridge
was an interesting way
to cross the stream
But I did it (see below)

This was a hike in old growth trees. The trees were BIG.
There are not trees like these in Texas

Hiking for miles among these giants is a wonderful experience
